License agreement (EULA)

This agreement governs the use of Mailfolk between you and MP Informatica S.r.l. (“we”, “us”), with registered office at Strada di Santa Bona Nuova 33/B, 31100 Treviso (TV), Italia, tax code and VAT number 05355370262. By installing or using the app, you accept these terms.
The license
What you get
With your purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive license with no expiration date to use Mailfolk. The same license works on 2 computers at a time, even on different operating systems. App updates are included.
Switching computers
If you activate the license on a new computer while you already have 2 active, the least recently used one is unlinked. To prevent abuse, you can do this at most 3 times in 30 days.
What you can't do
- Resell, rent or transfer the license to third parties without our consent.
- Share the license code publicly.
- Decompile or modify the app, except as permitted by law.
- Bypass the license check.
Purchase and refunds
Refund within 30 days
If Mailfolk isn't right for you, write to us at hello@mailfolk.email within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund the full amount. When you're refunded, the license is deactivated.
Launch price
You pay the price in effect at the time of purchase. If the price goes up later, we won't ask you for anything more.
Your data and your mail
They stay yours
Your mail stays on your computer and we acquire no rights to it. The data we process for licenses and purchases is covered by the privacy policy.
Third-party services
Mailfolk connects to mail servers and, if you choose, to assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT. Their use is governed by the terms of their respective providers.
Warranties and liability
The app as is
We do our best to make Mailfolk work well, but the app is provided “as is”, to the extent permitted by law. We recommend that you don't keep the only copy of important emails in a single place.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. This does not affect the rights that the law grants to consumers.
Other terms
Revocation
We may deactivate a license obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Changes do not take away any rights from licenses already purchased.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by Italian law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of the country in which they habitually reside. The competent court is the one provided for by law, including the consumer's court.
